Many Masjid and Islamic Centres raise 2-5 times more after a Jumuah prayer when they are hosting another Masjid than when they are raising for their own congregation.

Once a month between July and December 2026, your Masjid will visit another Masjid within your cohort for fund collections. At the same time, your Masjid will host another Masjid within your cohort.

Masjids will be placed in a cohort with other Masjids based on:

  • Geographical proximity - i.e. must be in the same region

  • Community size - i.e. must have comparable community sizes

Prerequisites

For a Masjid to register, we must ensure it fulfills certain criteria.

Registered Charity

Masjid must be a registered charity in the USA or Canada that is able to issue tax receipts

400+ Jumuah Congregants

Must have at least 400 Jumuah congregants (across all congregations if multiple Jumuah prayers are held)

Location

Must be within one of the four specified regions in the USA and Canada.

● How are Masjid organizations paired?

Once a representative from Masjid organization registers their organization, they are presented with a number of Masjid organizations within driving distance. They select the one that they'd like to visit and send a visit request. Once the visit request is approved by the other Masjid organization and a date is set for the visit, they will be asked to reciprocate the visit either on the same day or on another day.

● Does my Masjid have to pay anything to get paired with another Masjid?

No, there is no fee to get paired with another Masjid and you do not have to share any portion of the collection made during the visit.

● Is any Masjid able to register or are there any restrictions?

For a Masjid to register, it must:

  • Be located within one of the four specified regions in the USA and Canada.
  • Have a minimum of 400 attendees at its Jumuah congregation, or at least that should be the total when all congregations are added together if multiple Jumuah congregations are held.
  • Be a registered charity in the USA or Canada that is able to issue tax receipts.

Get Paired with other Masajid

To get placed in a cohort of several other Masjid organizations and exchange Jumuah visits, register your Masjid on the ANFIQ platform.

Create an account and search for your Masjid organization to become its administrator. If you do not find your organization, simply complete the organization registration form. Once submitted, your application is reviewed and processed within 24 hours.

You will be able to create visit requests for Jumu’ah prayers at other Masajid (and Taraweeh during Ramadan), explore and connect with other registered Masjid organizations within driving distance of your locality, and coordinate hosting and visiting opportunities in a structured and seamless way.
